Brand

The mark, and how to use it.

One mark, set flat, with the wordmark as live type beside it. The full file set — gradient, white, and transparent variants in PNG and SVG — lives in the documentation.

Primary mark

One shape, one fill.

The primary mark is an outlined silhouette with no enclosed wordmark. It is drawn as a single opaque shape so it can be inverted, masked, or used as a stencil without redrawing.

Brand colours and typography are not formally documented anywhere. The faces listed above are the ones this site and the Aftermath app actually load — treat them as observed fact, not as an approved specification.

Usage

Six rules.

The mark carries the identity on its own, so the rules are mostly about leaving it alone.

  • Do

    Use a single flat fill

The mark is drawn as an opaque silhouette. Place it on the warm dark background, or invert it for light surfaces. Keep the fill a single flat colour.

  • Do

Set the wordmark as live type

There is no wordmark asset. Wherever “Aftermath” appears beside the mark it is live type, set in the interface's own sans face — not a locked lockup image.

  • Do

    Give it clear space

Leave clear space around the mark equal to at least half its height. Nothing — text, borders, other logos — should enter that margin.

  • Don't

    Don't decorate the mark

Do not add gradients, drop shadows, strokes, or bevels to the mark, and do not recolour it to an arbitrary hue.

  • Don't

    Don't distort it

Do not stretch, rotate, skew, or reproportion the mark, and do not rebuild the wordmark by tracing it.

  • Don't

    Don't lose contrast

Do not place the mark on a busy photograph or a low-contrast background where the silhouette stops reading.

Files

Where the assets live.

The documentation hosts the full set: gradient, white, and transparent variants, each with and without a text lockup, in PNG and SVG.

For press, listings, and integration surfaces, download from the documentation rather than exporting from a screenshot — the hosted files are the ones kept current. If you need a variant that is not there, ask in Discord.
