Definition
What fully onchain means, surface by surface
It is a claim about where execution happens, not a mood. Here is what it buys you on each surface.
- Perpetuals
Matching logic executes directly in Move on a central limit order book. There is no off-chain sequencer, and fills and liquidations are auditable onchain.
- Vaults
A curator's mandate is enforced by the contract, not by policy: the fee is capped at 20% of profits, the lock at 60 days, and there is no function to close a vault.
- Swap and Router
A split route is one Programmable Transaction Block. A hot-potato object enforces slippage across the whole route, so the user signs a single transaction.
- Pools
Pool creation is permissionless and free. Weights, invariant, and fees are chosen at creation, and withdrawals are always distributed pro-rata at equal weights.
- Farms
Staked positions are user-owned Sui objects that only the owner can invoke. As the docs put it: the vault does absolutely nothing with the funds that you stake, because it can't access them.
- Liquid staking
Stakers choose the validator. Aftermath does not rely upon an algorithm to choose validators to delegate to, nor does it delegate to its own validator.
The set
Start anywhere
Each product has its own page with the mechanics, the limits, and the fees.
“The blockchain is the exchange: core execution logic is on-chain, fills and liquidations are auditable, and any permissions or parameters are visible on-chain. Don’t trust. Verify.”

- PTB
Programmable Transaction Blocks
One signed transaction carries many calls. The Smart-Order Router uses a PTB to split a swap across several sub-paths and settle them together, and a perps market maker cancels and places in a single PTB rather than as two racing transactions.
- Ownership
User-owned objects
Perpetuals collateral sits in an Account object you own and can transfer. Farm positions are user-owned objects only the owner can invoke. A DCA order object is soulbound to a multisig address and can never be transferred.
- Open access
Permissionless creation
Pools and farms are permissionless to create, anyone can run a vault as a curator, liquidations are open to anyone, and builder codes let any front end share fees without asking for an integration.
Fees
What Aftermath charges
One table, every surface. Nothing here is a promotional rate unless it says so.
| Surface | Fee | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Perpetuals | Maker 0.015% to 0%, taker 0.045% to 0.026% | By rolling 14-day volume tier |
| Vaults | Up to 20% of profits | Set by the curator, charged on profits only |
| Smart-Order Router | No protocol fee | Optional integrator fee per swap; Aftermath retains 2.5% of it |
| DCA | Zero fee | 0.05 SUI reserved per transaction for gas, refunded |
| Limit orders | Zero fee | Funds are reserved while the order is pending |
| Pools | 0.005% protocol fee on trades | LPs pay nothing to deposit or withdraw |
| Farms | Zero fees | Emissions are computed every minute |
| Liquid staking | 5% of staking rewards earned | Delayed unstake; instant unstake costs 0.1% to 1% |
